ZCOM Driver Messages
Chapter 5110
zcom 00229: Card <#> Port <#> No buffers and no requests pending
Explanation: This message is logged when the DAM is notified by
the ACC MUX firmware that their are no available
buffers on the card, but the DAM has no outstanding
write request to the card. This is a rare but potential
condition that can arise with a complex protocol such
as X.25 and can normally be ignored.
Action: If abnormal behavior is observed or the problem
persists, contact your HP Support Representative.
zcom 00230: Card <#> - Firmware failure detected, bad IRQ type
(card reset)!
Explanation: During normal operations the MUX firmware will send
an unsolicited message to the DAM to indicate that
inbound data is available or a previous write request
has completed. However, this message will be logged if
the unsolicited message (FIRQ) type was
unrecognizable by the DAM. The DAM will
automatically reset the MUX card (reboot) when this
occurs.
Action: Swap the hardware with a known good ACC MUX card.
If the problem still persists, contact your HP Support
Representative.
