ZSCAN - Display ZCOM Tables & Buffers
Overview
Chapter 5130
Overview
ZSCAN is a utility provided to allow the contents of the ZCOM kernel
tables and buffers to be viewed. Using ZSCAN, it is possible to display:
ZCOM global parameters
Physical terminal information
Logical terminal information
Interface table information
Queue headers
ZLU table information
ZCOM buffers
ZSCAN is primarily used for scanning and displaying table information,
as an aid to monitoring the ZCOM subsystem, and debugging programs
that use it.
ZSCAN can also be used to view certain memory image files, kernel files
and message text files by entering a runstring with zscan plus options as
described below.
In HP-UX 11.0 or later, there are 2 versions of the ACC/ZCOM kernels:
32-bit and 64-bit. ZSCAN is a 32-bit utility that can run on and interpret
both versions of ACC/ZCOM kernels.
