Configuring EMS HA-ATM for ELAN Interfaces
When SAM creates an ELAN on a secondary adapter, it always uses the
same secondary ELAN interface allocation conventions. For example, if
you have three primary ELAN interfaces (ela0, ela1, and ela2)
configured on primary adapter atm0, the secondary interfaces on
secondary adapter atm1 will be allocated as follows:

HP-UX 11.X:
NOTE If you have no secondary adapters and ELAN interfaces, but still want to
use EMS HA-ATM to monitor the status of the primary interface (for
example, so that EMS will notify MC/ServiceGuard if a failure occurs),
that is possible: do steps 1 through 6 below, and then select the OK
button.
To configure HA in SAM, follow these steps:
