Determining Which ATM Adapters You Have

Note: BIP is Bit Interleave Parity, FEBE is Far End Block Error
Now that you know the speed (155) and media (Multi-Mode fiber) of the
adapter with card instance number 1, you might want to determine
which type (HP-HSC or HP-PCI) that adapter is. So, you could issue this
command:
ioscan -fCatm
and get this output (the applicable information for this example is shown
in bold):

Then, in the command’s output, check to see which name is listed in the
Driver column for the ATM adapter with card instance number 1. Look
up the driver name in Table 9-2 below to determine which ATM adapter
it is (discontinued adapters—and the corresponding drivers—are not
shown).
