C Correct the conﬁguration. Use SAM to reconﬁgure the ATM adapter

with the correct IP information.

D Check the local system conﬁguration. Using SAM, check that the

PVC has been conﬁgured correctly on the local system. Alternatively, use

the command atmmgr

card_inst_num

show -v to display all the PVCs

for the ATM adapter. See the atmmgr(1) man page for further details.

Ensure that the type of trafﬁc parameters conﬁgured are compatible

with those available at the remote destination system.

E Correct the conﬁguration. If the local conﬁguration is not correct, use

SAM to add or modify the PVC.

F Check the switch conﬁguration. Using the conﬁguration software

provided with the switch, check that the PVC has been conﬁgured

correctly.

G Correct the switch conﬁguration. If the switch conﬁguration is not

correct, use the conﬁguration software provided with the switch to add or

modify the PVC.
