F Use the atmcheck and atmserver commands on the same (local) adapter
to ensure that the SVCs between the local ATM stack and first switch
are tested and working correctly.
NOTE The atmcheck and atmserver commands can be used only between any
two of the following ATM adapters: HP-HSC or HP-PCI.
Step 1. Use the following command to start the server (on ATM adapter 0, in
this example):
/usr/lbin/atmserver 0
The output could look like this:
ATMSERVER: Log to file : /var/adm/atmserver.log
Step 2. To use the atmcheck command you need to know the adapter’s ATM
address. Use this command to get the address:
atmmgr 0 show -c
The output could look like this:
