This software is designed to run on HP-UX version 11i v2. Software Availability Table 1-1 below shows how the ATM software and cards are available on HP-UX 11i v2 platform.

For additional details, please refer to the Readme Before Installing or Updating to HP-UX 11i v2 document provided with your HP product.
ATM Release Note for HP-UX 11i v2 Known Problems and Workarounds • During system startup, an ELAN interface’s initialization might not complete before the IP initialization stars. This can lead to errors if the IP configuration uses that ELAN interface. An example of this is when static routes use the ELAN interface. Workaround: To avoid this, a tunable delay parameter (ATM_ELAN_TIMEOUT) has been added to the ATM subsystem file (/etc/rc.config.d/atmconf).

You can combine adapters, as long as they are all supported for your system. The table below lists the supported adapter configurations for HP-UX 11i v2. Note that discontinued adapters are not shown.
