Step 7. To list the device files created after installing the driver, run the following command at the
command prompt:
$ lssf /dev/tty*

To replace the old adapter with a new adapter on a system that supports HP-UX 11i v2 operating system,
complete the following steps:
NOTE You can replace an adapter with a similar type of adapter. For example, you can replace
AD278A 8-port adapter with AD278A 8-port adapter only.
Step 1. Get the slot number where you want to insert the card by running the following command at the
command prompt:
$ /usr/bin/olrad -q
All the slot IDs are displayed.
Step 2. Suspend the AD278A/AD279A adapter driver, and power-off the supply to the selected slot by
running the following command at the command prompt:
$ /usr/bin/olrad -r slot_id
Step 3. Remove the card from the slot that has to be replaced. Insert the new card manually in the slot.
