Disk Space and Memory Requirements
For proper operation, HyperFabric requires the following disk space and memory:
• A minimum of 512 MB of system memory per adapter.
• 12 MB free disk space.
Additional Hardware Requirements
Other than the HyperFabric2 adapters, cables, and switches (if switches are used), the
following additional hardware components are required:
• A HyperFabric2 (fiber) loopback plug. The loopback plug is used for testing HyperFabric
adapters and switches. See the HyperFabric Administrator’s Guide, (Part Number
B6257-90043), for more information.
