Installing both item 1 and item 2 on the same system may negatively
impact performance:
1. The VSEMgmt bundle (containing HP VSE Management Software and
HP Integrity VM Manager for HP SIM)
2. The VMMGR bundle (containing the HP Integrity VM Manager plug-in
for HP SMH) with the HPVM bundle (containing HP Integrity Virtual
Machines)
The VSEMgmt bundle is intended to be installed in a Central Management
Server (CMS) while the VMMGR+HPVM bundles are intended to be installed
in a managed node.
What to do
Do not install the VSEMgmt bundle at the same time you install the VMMGR
plus HPVM bundles.
During a new installation or an upgrade, you have to decide which kind
of system you are preparing:
• If the system intends to be a CMS, install just the VSEMgmt bundle
and its dependencies, removing VMMGR+HPVM bundles if they are
installed;
• If the system intends to be a managed node, install the VMMGR+HPVM
bundles and their dependencies, removing VSEMgmt bundle if this is
installed.
NOTE: Each of these bundles is optionally installed, so you may simply
not select it during installation of the Operating Environment.
