This document provides updated information about the March 2010 release of the 10GigEthr-00
bundle for HP-UX 11i v3.

This edition adds information about a known problem to “Known problems and limitations”
(page 4).
1 10GigEthr-00 overview
The 10GigEthr-00 bundle contains the ixgbe version B.11.31.1003 driver, which supports the
HP AB287A and AD385A PCI-X 10 Gigabit Ethernet Cards.
2 New and changed features in this release
2.1 New features
The following feature is new with this version of 10GigEthr-00:
• Support is added for 4-tuple hash based steering on HP AD385A cards.
The ixgbe driver now supports 4-tuple hash based steering on HP AD385A cards. For more
information on this feature, see the Ethernet Support Guide for HP-UX 11i v3. This document
is available on the HP website at http://www.hp.com/go/hpux-iocards-docs.
2.2 Changed features
There are no changed features included in 10GigEthr-00 at the time of this publication.
