This document provides information about the March 2010 release of the 10GigEthr-02 bundle
for HP-UX 11i v3.
1 10GigEthr-02 Overview
The 10GigEthr-02 bundle contains the iexgbe driver, which supports the HP NC532m Dual
Port 10GbE Multifunction BL-c Adapter.
This release supports limited functionality. The web released driver contains features that were
not ready at the time of AR1003 release. You can download the latest version on the HP website
as follows:
• Prior to April 15, 2010:
— Go to the HP Software Kiosk website at:
http://software.hp.com/kiosk
— When prompted, log in with the following case-sensitive credentials:
User name: Flex10_4_Integrity
Password: Welcome10G
— Click 10 Gigabit Ethernet Driver for NC532m on HP-UX.
• On or after April 15, 2010:
— Go to the HP Software Depot website at:
http://www.software.hp.com/
— Search for 10GigEthr-02.

4 Known Problems and Limitations
The following features are not available on Version 11.31.1003:
• Flex-10 bandwidth allocation is not supported.
Severity: Medium
Version 11.31.0911 of the iexgbe driver does not support Flex-10 bandwidth allocation.
The NC532m Flex-10 adapter has two physical ports. Each physical port has an aggregate
10 Gb transmit bandwidth and can support up to four virtual NICs. When fully implemented,
Flex-10 technology enables you to use the VC interconnect to specify the bandwidth values
for each of the four virtual NICs (FlexNICs), up to the aggregate 10 Gb.
