This document provides information about the March 2009 release of the CommonIO bundle for HP-UX 11i v3. 1 HP CommonIO Overview The CommonIO bundle packages multiple products, and is always installed. The following sections describe each CommonIO component. 1.1 FC-COMMON FC-COMMON is delivered in the CommonIO bundle. FC-COMMON contains the FC-SNIA file set.
2.2 SAS-COMMON The following feature is new with this version of CommonIO: • Two new qualifiers are added to the sasmgr replace_tgt command. In previous versions of the sasmgr utility, the sasmgr replace_tgt command accepted old_dev and new_tgt_hwpath as command qualifiers. This version adds two new qualifiers: old_dev/new_dev and old_tgt_hwpath/new_tgt_hwpath. For more information, including usage details, see the sasmgr manpage. 3 Problems Fixed in This Version 3.
4.2 SAS-COMMON • Incorrect bundle version appears in sasmgr get_info. The CommonIO Bundle Version listed in the sasmgr get_info command output is incorrectly shown as B.11.31.02. Corrective Action: Use swlist -l bundle CommonIO to determine the bundle version. For example: iolab7.ind.hp.com# swlist -l product SAS-COMMON # Initializing... # Contacting target "iolab7.ind.hp.com"... # # Target: iolab7.ind.hp.com:/ # SAS-COMMON B.11.31 Serial SCSI Common product This is corrected in later releases.
7 Software Availability in Native Languages The CommonIO product is available only in the English language.
