1 HP CommonIO Overview The CommonIO bundle packages multiple products, and is always installed. The following sections describe each CommonIO component. 1.1 FC-COMMON FC-COMMON is delivered in the CommonIO bundle. FC-COMMON contains the FC-SNIA file set. FC-SNIA contains the Common SNIA HBA Application Programming Interface (API) library, which provides a consistent interface to access HBA information in a Fibre Channel Storage Area Network.
2 New and changed features in this release 2.1 FC-COMMON There are no new features/changes with the B.11.31.1403 version of CommonIO for HP-UX 11iv3. There has, however, been an enhancement to the WEB1311 version of CommonIO, which will also be part of the B.11.31.1403 release: • The following feature is new with the B.11.31.1311 version of the CommonIO for HP-UX 11iv3:In order to support upcoming releases of Veritas Volume Manager (VXVM) product versions 5.0.1 and 5.
3.2 SAS-COMMON There are no defects or fixes included in CommonIO at the time of this publication. Problems Fixed in Recent Versions There were no defects or fixes included in CommonIO B.11.31.1109.
