2 New and changed features in this release

2.1 FC-COMMON

There are no new features/changes with the B.11.31.1403 version of CommonIO for HP-UX

11iv3. There has, however, been an enhancement to the WEB1311 version of CommonIO, which

will also be part of the B.11.31.1403 release:

• The following feature is new with the B.11.31.1311 version of the CommonIO for HP-UX

11iv3:In order to support upcoming releases of Veritas Volume Manager (VXVM) product

versions 5.0.1 and 5.1SP1 OR their later versions, CommonIO's FC-SNIA file set has been

modified to deliver a new version of SNIA library named as libHBAAPImt. If any application

wants to use the new version of SNIA library (libHBAAPImt), they may recompile and link

using these below mentioned compiler options:

"+tls=dynamic -mt -D_LIBIO_MT_SUPPORT -lHBAAPImt"

For complete enablement of feature provided in this library, appropriate vendor specific SNIA

libraries also needs to be installed on the system. Please refer corresponding vendor specific

Fibre Channel Mass Storage Driver Release notes for details at

http://www.hp.com/go/fibre-channel-HBA-docs.

NOTE: There is no change to existing SNIA library delivered as part of FC-SNIA file set.

2.2 SAS-COMMON

There are no new SAS-COMMON features included in CommonIO at the time of this publication.
