In this scenario, the two guests evolution and president use datalan vswitch which is

backed by an NIC card (lan18) on olrad capable PCI slot and shows the behavior of olrad –C

when no VNIC is configured with any IP address.

When no IP address is configured on the VNIC the HPVM AVIO networking returns SUCCESS,

however the generic LAN will return DATA CRITICAL. In this case, you can assume that there is no

VNIC usage.

Get the Slot ID of NIC card.
