Software Distributor (SD) is a suite of applications for working with HP-UX software packages. You
can use the SD applications for packaging, installing, copying, listing, removing and verifying
software. The latest revision numbers of SD are:
HP-UX 11i v2 (11.23) — B.11.23.1009
HP-UX 11i v3 (11.31) — B.11.31.1109
Summary of Change
This release of SD includes the following new features:
• Support for HP-UX Containers (SRP) v3: When SRP is installed and enabled, the SD-UX
commands support software management for SRP system containers.
• Introduced are two new options: global_srp= and local_srp_list=. These are supported
only in an SRP-enabled system.
