2 Installation, upgrade, and verification processes from the
bundle
This section describes methods to install, upgrade, and verify your products from the bundle.
Installing products from the bundle
You can download WBEMMgmtBundle, from the web http://software.hp.com/, and to your local
system.
To install the bundle, use the following command:
# swinstall -s /WBEMMgmtBundle
Upgrading products from the bundle
To upgrade the existing version of your products from the bundle, install WBEMMgmtBundle by
setting the re-install option to true as follows:
# swinstall -x reinstall=true -s /WBEMMgmtBundle
Verifying installation
• To verify if products in WBEMMgmtBundle are installed successfully, run the following command
at HP-UX prompt:
# swverify <WBEMMgmtBundle>
For example: Use the following command to verify SFM-CORE product
# swverify SFM-CORE
If the product is installed successfully on your system, the following message is displayed:
Verification succeeded.
• If these products are not installed successfully on your system, run the following command at
HP-UX prompt to view the log file for errors:
# grep -i error /var/adm/sw/swagent.log
Fix the error and reinstall the product.
