HP Matrix Operating Environment 7.3 and 7.3 Update 1 Infrastructure Orchestration User Guide
Following is an example of a Virtual Connect tunnel trunk configuration.
Physical networks discovered from Virtual Connect are represented as a subnet whether they are
a single network or a tunneled trunk network carrying multiple subnets.
Matrix infrastructure orchestration represents Virtual Connect networks based on the VC network
configuration. Following are characteristics of tunneled trunk Virtual Connect networks:
• Subnets can be designated as a tunneled trunk
• Set of subnets carried on the tunneled trunk can be defined
• Tunneled trunks are designated as "Tunnel VLAN tags" in the network configuration
• All traffic from an uplink port is tunneled through VC to the downlink port without modifying
VLAN tags
