Resolved issues
The following issues that existed in Virtual Connect v1.24 have been resolved in Virtual Connect v1.31:
• The VC Manager CLI set ldap command IpAddress option now supports both IP address and
the DNS name of the directory server as stated in the Command Line help and CLI user guide.
• The number of SNMP trap destination addresses is no longer limited to one trap destination for VC-
FC modules. Five trap addresses are now supported.
• The SNMP Alert Destination Community String default value is public and now the value is editable.
• Virtual Connect no longer incorrectly disables the PXE boot setting even when "USE BIOS" is
selected.
• VC now prevents a Profile Pending state if the Blade Signature is in an indeterminate state.
• For VC-Enet modules, the SNMPv2c MIB walk no longer halts if the Get-Bulk feature is enabled.
• Handling of enclosure serial number handoff from the OA is improved to prevent a NO COMM
state.
• Resolved a problem that caused a persistent communication failure between Virtual Connect and the
enclosure Onboard Administrator.
• Resolved a problem that caused a short network outage after network failover.
• Resolved a problem that caused a loss of Virtual Connect configuration data during a Virtual
Connect Management function failover.
• Resolved a problem that caused the checkpoint icon in the Virtual Connect GUI to remain
indefinitely.
• Resolved a problem with the VC support dump utility, which was failing intermittently when more
than two VC-FC modules were present in an enclosure.
• Resolved an issue where the configuration was not pushed to a VC-FC module after it was hot-
swapped.
