Appendix C: Brocade SAN switch NPIV configuration
Enabling NPIV using the GUI
1. Log on to the SAN switch using the IP address and a web browser. After you are authenticated, the switch home
page appears.
2. Click Port Admin. The Port Administration screen appears.
3. If you are in Basic Mode, click Show Advanced Mode in the top right corner. When you are in Advanced Mode,
the Show Basic Mode button appears.
4. Select the port you want to enable with NPIV, in this case, Port 13. When NPIV is disabled, the NPIV Enabled field
shows a value of false.
