9. For the fabric type, select DirectAttach and if required select the proper Preferred and Maximum FCoE

connection speed, then click Apply.

You have created two VC Direct-Attach fabrics, each with two uplink ports allocated from one VC module but

connected to 2 different 3PAR controller nodes for better redundancy.

Now you can create the two Fabric-Attach SAN Fabrics:

1. On the SAN Fabrics screen, click Add to create the third fabric.

2. Create a new VC Fabric-Attach fabric named Fabric-1 and then add Port X1 and X2 from the first Virtual

Connect FlexFabric module (Bay 1).

3. For the fabric type, keep the default FabricAttach.
