Issues and workarounds Issue Upgrading VC firmware using VCSU or HP SUM from 3.15, 3.17, or 3.18 to a newer version might result in a temporary FCoE outage. • Do not close the VCSU console application when a firmware update is in progress. If VCSU is closed before the update completes, the module firmware might not update correctly, causing the module firmware to be inoperative. • An Onboard Administrator user account with Administrative privileges and access to all Onboard Administrators and interconnect bays must be available for use.
