Defining a new VC SAN Fabric via GUI
Configure the VC FlexFabric module from the HP Virtual Connect Manager home screen:
1. From the HP Virtual Connect Manager GUI, select Define SAN Fabric from the HP Virtual Connect Home page.
2. In the Define SAN Fabric window, provide the VC Fabric Name, in this case Fabric-1-3PAR.
3. Add Port X1 from the first Virtual Connect FlexFabric module (Bay 1).
4. Change the default Fabric-Attach fabric type to DirectAttach and then click Apply.
5. On the SAN Fabrics screen, click Add to create the second fabric.
6. Create a new VC Direct-Attach fabric named Fabric-2-3PAR.
7. Add Port X1 from the second Virtual Connect FlexFabric module (Bay 2).
