Item Description 
set snmp 
Modify the SNMP configuration for the VC domain. 
Syntax 
set snmp <Type> [ReadCommunity=<ReadCommunityString>] 
[SystemContact=<SystemContact>] [Enabled=<true|false>] 
[SmisEnabled=<true|false>]
Parameter   
Type (required) 
Indicates for which I/O module the SNMP configuration should be applied 
(required). Valid values include "Enet" and "FC". 
Properties 
ReadCommunity 
(optional) 
Read-Only Community String for SNMP. The default value is "Public" if not 
specified. 
SystemContact 
SNMP system contact information. If type is "FC", the maximum length is 12 
characters. 
Enabled (optional) 
Enables or disables the SNMP agent. The default value is "true". Valid values 
include "true" or "false". 
SmisEnabled 
(optional) 
This property is valid only for FC modules. The default value is "false". Valid 
values include "true" or "false".

SystemContact=admin@datacentre1.org Enabled=true 
Enables the SNMP agent for VC-Enet modules and supplies a community string

Syntax 
show snmp <Type> 
Parameter   
Type (optional) 
Indicates the type of VC module to display SNMP configuration for. If the type is 
not specified, all VC module SNMP configuration information is displayed. Valid 
values include "Enet" and "FC".
