Adding an FCoE volume to VMware ESX
Under VMware vSphere, volumes are not automatically detected and installed after they are presented to the server. So
it is necessary to rescan the vmhbas.
Discovering new volumes
 Log in to the vSphere web Client, and select your host
 Select the Manage menu and click on the Storage Adapters tab
 Click on the Rescan All Storage button
 Then you can select the first FCoE adapter and click on Devices to verify that a target has been discovered
