o This command displays information of the upstream switch where the fc interface is connected to, the
commands provides Fabric management IP address (only available with MDS switches) the VSAN number, the
FCF MAC address and the Fabric WWN.
show npv internal info external-interface san-port-channel 100
o With a MDS SAN Fabric, this command displays the upstream MDS switch information:
Fabric management IP address.
FCF MAC address.
Fabric Name.
o The command also provides the VSAN numbers that are part of the port channel.
Note: When the Nexus is running in NPV mode, the Fabric name may not be consistent from the Fabric name display in
Virtual Connect, which is provided by the FCF in snooped FCoE Initialization Protocol (FIP) messages.
