o This command displays the vfc interface information, including the state (up or down), the FCoE MAC address
and interface or BAGG bound to the vfc interface, the VSAN number and the mode of the vfc interface
(F/E/NP).
o The output shows that an FCoE communication is taking place as interface vfc1 is UP.
o Administratively DOWN shows an interface that is administratively shut down. To put the interface back to
administratively up, use the command undo shutdown.
o DOWN shows an interface that is shut down. This can be due to an incorrect configuration of Virtual
connect/5900, a server turned off, etc.
