 Assign the Virtual Fibre Channel interfaces (vfc) and the SAN Port Channel to the FCoE VSANs:
o vsan database
o vsan 201
o vsan 201 interface vfc 2005
o vsan 201 interface vfc 1000
o vsan 301
o vsan 301 interface vfc 2006
 Configure the interface connected to the datacenter LAN:
o interface eth 1/17
o switchport mode trunk
o switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10,20
 Configuration of the zone:
a. Create the first VSAN zone for the 3PAR Storage target:
o zone name fcoe-zone-3PAR vsan 201
o member pwwn 20:53:00:02:ac:00:15:9d {This is the WWN of the second 3PAR controller port}
o member pwwn 50:06:0b:00:00:c3:1a:22 {This is the WWN of the first Blade FlexFabric Adapter port 2}
b. Create zoneset:
o zoneset name zoneset-3PAR vsan 201
o member fcoe-zone-3PAR
c. Activate zoneset:
o zoneset activate name zoneset-3PAR vsan 201
d. Create the second VSAN zone for the EVA Storage target:
o zone name fcoe-zone-EVA vsan 301
o member pwwn 50:01:43:80:02:5D:19:79 {This is the WWN of the second EVA controller port}
o member pwwn 50:06:0b:00:00:c3:1a:26 {This is the WWN of the second Blade FlexFabric Adapter port 2}
e. Create zoneset:
o zoneset name zoneset-EVA vsan 301
o member fcoe-zone-EVA
f. Activate zoneset:
o zoneset activate name zoneset-EVA vsan 301
MDS 9506 switch-B configuration
 Upgrade the MDS switch with minimum system version MDS NX-OS 5.2(6a) or with NX-OS 6.2(3) if you use Broadcom
FlexFabric adapters.
Note: A minimum version is required as the Cisco MDS 9000 10-Gbps 8-Port FCoE Module is only supported with MDS
NX-OS 5.2(6a) or later.
Note: With 534FLR-SFP+, 534FLB, 534M adapters, the Cisco MDS 9000 10-Gbps 8-Port FCoE Module is only supported
with NX-OS 6.2(3).
