Resolved issues
The following issues that existed in previous versions of Virtual Connect have been resolved in Virtual
Connect v2.10:
• Resolved a potential VC GUI hang issue that occurred if an Internet browser was used and an uplink
port cable was disconnected from a VC Ethernet module.
• Resolved several unexpected pop-up error messages that appeared on the VC GUI when the VC GUI
browser was open on the Profile page and a server was powered on.
• Resolved an issue that the servers using FC might lose SAN connectivity for a brief period when the
primary OA module was reset.
• The "connected to" information on the Fibre Channel server port information table is now updated
when manual login redistribution is performed.
• After configuration changes are made (for example, changing stacking link configuration) standby
uplinks for a VC Ethernet network become active.
• Resolved a memory leak in the VC Manager daemon that was triggered when both OA modules
were absent from the enclosure.
• The VC GUI now prevents inline edits on the Profile page when servers are powered on.
• After physically removing VC-FC modules from bays 5 and 7, administrative removal of those
modules is executed successfully when double-dense mode is enabled.
• Entering CTRL-C during a CLI command execution no longer terminates the ssh sessions and logs out
the user.
• Resolved an issue with triggering a memory dump when a QLogic QMH2562 8Gb FC HBA is used
to boot Integrity BL860c or BL870c server blades from a SAN and a message "Physical memory
dump FAILED with status 0xC0000001" appeared on the server console.
• Resolved an issue with servers sending a port reset with QLogic QMH2462 HBAs and the multipath
driver losing device connectivity and not recovering.
