3. Back to the Brocade Command Line, the port 2 information shows the new login distribution, the server is now
using Brocade Port 2 instead of Port 1.
The server has been automatically reconnected (failed over) to another uplink port. The failover only takes a
few seconds to complete.
4. The server MPIO Manager shows no degraded state as the VC Fabric_1 remains good with one port still
connected.
5. Disconnect the remaining port of Fabric_1 by shutting down port 2 on the Brocade SAN Switch.
Note: Before you turn off the port, make sure both server HBA ports are correctly presented to the Storage
Array.
6. From the brocade Command Line, disable port 2.
