Defining a new VC SAN Fabric using the CLI
Configure the VC Direct-Attach SAN Fabrics from the CLI:
1. Log in to the Virtual Connect Manager CLI:
2. Enter the following commands to create the fabrics and assign the uplink ports:
add fabric Fabric-1-3PAR Bay=1 Ports=1 Type=DirectAttach
add fabric Fabric-2-3PAR Bay=2 Ports=1 Type=DirectAttach
3. When complete, run the show fabric command.
