You have created four VC fabrics, two for the Direct-Attach 3PAR and two for the SAN Fabric connectivity. The
connection status is red for both Flat SAN fabrics because we still need to configure the 3PAR controller ports.
Defining a new VC SAN Fabric using the CLI
Configure the VC Direct-Attach SAN Fabrics from the CLI:
1. Log in to the Virtual Connect Manager CLI:
2. Enter the following commands to create the fabrics and assign the uplink ports:
add fabric Fabric-1-3PAR Bay=1 Ports=3,4 Type=DirectAttach
add fabric Fabric-2-3PAR Bay=2 Ports=3,4 Type=DirectAttach
add fabric Fabric-1 Bay=1 Ports=1,2
add fabric Fabric-2 Bay=2 Ports=1,2
