Security Alert message about Java Security Certificate revocation may display
In certain situations, the following message may display:
Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not
available. Do you want to proceed?
Workaround: This is a known issue that is being addressed by Oracle. Click Yes on the message
window to proceed.
Unable to create a volume when accessing the Create a Volume wizard from the Add
a File Server wizard
When accessing the Create a Volume wizard from the Add a File Server wizard, the Next button on
the first window of the wizard is disabled but no error message is displayed. This issue occurs because
the RemoteSync service cannot be contacted on the other node.
Workaround: One or more of the following may cause this issue:
Network settings (IP address, netmask, gateway, or DNS servers) are incorrect
Incorrect DNS A or PTR records in the DNS server
Defective cables
After confirming that the network settings and cabling are correct, restart the RemoteSync service on
the other node and access the Create a Volume wizard again.
Create a Volume wizard fails to format the LUN
When using the Create a Volume wizard, the wizard fails to format the LUN and displays the following
message:
Failed to locate LUN on host
This issue can occur if an external disk enclosure contains volumes and has been disconnected from
the storage system.
Workaround: Delete the volumes created on the external disk enclosure or reconnect the disk enclosure
to the storage system. Retry the Create a Volume wizard again.
Enclosure health LED does not indicate system status from both nodes
The front panel health indicator (LED) may not reflect the health of both storage system nodes. One
node may not indicate any faults (using HP System Management Homepage) while the other node
may have faults. In some cases, the front panel health indicator will remain green, indicating that the
system is functioning without faults when in fact there may be faults.
Workaround: Monitor the system using management agents, or manually by running the HP System
Management Homepage on each node, to determine the system status.
Unclear how to ignore particular networks on the Client access point page of the Create
File Server wizard
When multiple non-DHCP networks are detected, each network is displayed on the Client access point
page and you must supply a static IP address for each network. However, you may not wish to enable
client access to the file server on all of the networks. It is not clear how to ignore particular networks.
Workaround: Do not supply a static IP address for any network over which client access is not desired.
Leave the address at the default setting for that network, which is the subnet address. Only networks
