Creating HTTP shares from the HP StoreAll Management Console
Use the Add New File Share and Object Store Wizard to create the HTTP share. You can then
view or modify the configuration as necessary.
To create HTTP shares:

Creating standard HTTP shares
1. Select File Shares and Object Store from the Navigator. Then click Add to start the Add New
File Share and Object Store Wizard.
2. On the File Share window, enter or select the following:
Select the file system containing the data for the share or select Create a new HTTP Profile.
NOTE: If you accessed the Add New File Share and Object Store Wizard by selecting
Filesystems in the top Navigator and HTTP Shares in the bottom Navigator, the file system
is selected automatically.
Select HTTP as the file sharing protocol.
NOTE: If you select File Shares and Object Store > HTTP in the top Navigator and a
virtual host in the bottom Navigator, the file sharing protocol is selected automatically.
Enter a name for the share (for example, share1).
Enter or browse to the physical directory path to the share (for example, /ifs1/dir1).
Optionally, enter a description for the share.
Click Next to continue.
