The following table provides a description of the information provided in the previous figure.
Table 44 Description of data provided in example report for slice type equal
DescriptionTotal number of files
retained for this period
Resulting Slice Equals of 5Duration of slices using
equals of 5 years
500 files are retained in this
duration.
5001y to 6y5
Ideally the next slice should
be 6y to 11 years to have a
06y to 31y25 years
5 year slice, and then 11y
to 16 years and so on. But
it is 6y to 31y. This is
because in this period there
are no files that are retained.
Hence all the 0 valued slices
are merged together to
avoid big table or graphs
just listing 0s for these
durations.
500 files are retained in this
duration.

Last Validation reports
Last Validation reports provide an overview of how many file were validated successfully in a
specified interval.
IMPORTANT:
Keep in mind the following:
Data retention must be enabled on the target file system.
From 6.5 or later, last validation reports are generated from Express Query. If file system is
upgraded from 6.4 or earlier, the older last validation reports are not available. Last validation
reports are available only after completing the first validation scan post the file system upgrade.
Zero valued records are only displayed in the table output.
