Physical cabling
The minimum cabling required for attachment of a single StoreAll 93xx/8x00 server to a customer
network consists of the three patch cables shown in Figure 25 (page 60). A minimal StoreAll
93xx/8x00 installation has two of these server components. For maximum redundancy, ideally
each patch cable is connected to a physically separate edge switch in the customer network.

The minimum cabling required for attachment of a single MSA enclosure to the management
network consists of the two patch cables shown in Figure 26 (page 61). Each SAS controller has
its own management port that must be connected to the customer provided edge switch for the
management subnet.
