6.5 HP StoreAll 8200/9300 Storage Administrator Guide

Storage Switch. (Applies only to the HP StoreAll 9730/X9720) The Storage Switch panel
provides detailed information about the storage switches.
LUNs. The LUNs panel provides information about the LUNs in a storage cluster.
For HP StoreAll 9730/X9720 systems, the Vendor Storage panel lists the HP 600 Modular Disk
Systems (MDS600) included in the system. The Summary panel shows details for the selected
MDS600. Select a component from the lower Navigator to see details for the selected storage.
Each MDS600 has a single drive enclosure, shown on the Drive Enclosures panel. That enclosure
includes two sub-enclosures, which are shown on the Drive Sub Enclosures panel.
The Drive Sub Enclosure Components panel shows information for the fans, temperature sensors,
and SEPs located in the two sub-enclosures. The UUIDs of the fans and temperature sensors start
with the UUID of the sub-enclosure containing those components. Select Fans, Temperature Sensors,
or SEPs from the Navigator to see just those components.
The Drives panel lists the drives in all of the MDS600 systems. The Location field shows where the
drive is located. For example, if the location is Port: 52 Box 1 Bay:7, the drive is in bay 7. The
port number specifies the switch number and switch port. For port 52, the drive is connected to
port 2 on switch 5. For location Port: 72 Box 1, Bay 6, the drive is connected to port 2 on switch
7 in bay 6.
See the administrator guide pertaining to your version of HP StoreAll storage for additional details.

Monitoring the status of file serving nodes
The dashboard on the GUI displays information about the operational status of file serving nodes,
including CPU, I/O, and network performance information.
To view this information from the CLI, use the ibrix_server -l command, as shown in the
following sample output:
ibrix_server -l
