-y SLICE_TYPE. Specifies the type of time periods in the report. Periods can be set at the
default (using "auto" slice type) or user defined (using "Equal" or “Log” slice type) based on
slice value (-S) and range value (R). This option is valid for all reports except for the "file
extension" report. Options:
-y "auto" Generates a report with default/predefined periods.
-y "equal" Generates a report with periods equally sliced using slice value (-S) for a
given Range Value (R). Use "equal" for smaller range value (R). For example: (1 day to
10 days).
-y "log" Generates a report with periods logarithmically sliced using slice value (-S)
for a given range value (R). Use "log" for larger range value (R). For example: (1 day to
10 years).
-R RANGE Generates a report in a specified range. This option is applicable only for "equal"
and "log" slice types.
-R "period > value1 AND period < value2" Generates a report with intervals
in between the value1 and value2.
-R "period < value" Generates a report with intervals between the minimum value
and the provided value. The minimum value for "retention" and "last validation" is "0
days" and for "file size distribution" is "0 Bytes".
-R "period > value" Generates a report with intervals between the value and
maximum value. The maximum value for "retention" is the maximum retention period set
for a file system and for "last validation" is the maximum period of the "last validation"
scan ran and for "file size distribution" is the maximum size of the file in the file system.
Format options for the dates and file size:
-R nd/nm/ny where "n" is a positive integer greater than one. The d, m and y
values represent days, months and years. This option is applicable for "retention"
and "last validation" reports. This option is applicable for "retention" and "last
validation" reports.
-R yyyy-mm-dd This option is applicable for "retention" and "last validation"
reports.
-R nK/nM/nG/nT/nP where "n" is a positive integer greater than one. The K, M,
G, T and P values represent kibibytes, mebibytes, gibibyte, tebibyte, and pebibyte
bytes. This option is applicable for "file size distribution" reports.
-e SCOPE_DEFN Limits the scope of a report. Without this option specified, the report is
generated to the entire file system. Options:
-e pathname Reports are limited to a specified path in a file system.
-e state Reports are limited to a specified state in a file system. The options for
specifying the state filter are "wormed”, "legalhold", "deletable","retained", "mismatch".
-e filesize Reports are limited to a specified file size in a file system.
-e ownerid Reports are limited to a specified owner of files by using the corresponding
ownerid in a file system.
-e groupid Reports are limited to a particular group using the corresponding groupid.
-e accesstime Reports are filtered based on the last accessed time of files in a file
system.
-e createtime Reports are filtered based on the create time of files in a file system.
