IMPORTANT: Keep in mind the following:
The Object Store creates a default swift administrator group with a default username and
password of swift whenever an Object Store is created.
NOTE: The swift user and group are created during installation and will be utilized only
for Object Store administrative purposes.
Users must have administrative privileges to be able to create, delete, and manage containers
on an Object Store.
The ibrix_objectstoreadmin command can only be used to assign administrator
permissions to AD, LDAP or StoreAll local users. To assign administrative privileges to the
keystone users, you must use the Keystone client or REST API access through cURL.
While assigning administrative privileges, users must be mapped to their respective
administrator group.
You can also assign non-administrative users read-write access to a container. See Assigning
non-administrative privileges with read-write access to a container (page 144) and Assigning
non-administrative privileges with read access to a container (page 145) for more information.

Assigning Administrative privileges to a group
To create an administrator group for an Object Store:
1. In the left Navigator pane, select Object under File Shares and Object Store.
2. In the Object Store pane, select the Object Store.
3. In the lower-left pane, select Object Store.
4. In the lower right pane under Object Store Details, select the Object Store share on which you
want to manage Object Store accounts.
5. Click Manage Object Store Accounts.
6. Select the Group option.
7. Type a group administrator name in the Group Name text box.
