6.1 HP IBRIX X9000 Network Storage System File System User Guide (TA768-96061, June 2012)

For a run-once replication, either specify the source directory or click Use a snapshot and then
select the appropriate Snap Tree and snapshot.
For both continuous and run-once replications, supply the target side information. Select the target
cluster and target export, which must already be configured. If the remote cluster is not in the Target
Cluster selection list, you will need to register the cluster. Select New to open the Add Remote
Cluster dialog box. (See “Configuring the target export for replication to a remote cluster” (page 123)
for more information.)
You can also specify an optional target directory under the target export. For example, you could
configure the following replication, which does not include an optional target directory:
Source directory: /srcFS/a/b/c
Exported file system and directory on target: /destFS/1/2/3
The contents of /srcFS/a/b/c are replicated to destFs/1/2/3/{contents_under_c}.
If you also specify the target directory a/b/c, the replication goes to /destFs/1/2/3/a/b/
c{contents_under_c}.
The Replication Destination shows the location you have configured. The Continuous example
above shows a completed Target Side section.
Same cluster replications
Same cluster replications can be configured for continuous or run-once mode.
