reset the switch and retry the update. With this fix, the FMT performs the switch reset and retries
the firmware update.
If the reset fails, the following error message is displayed:

Reset failed for SAS Switch located at interconnect bay:
SAS_SWITCH_BAY_<bay number>.
Please reset the switch manually.
When this occurs, you must reset the switch manually.
• When using the ibrix_auth command to add a user as share administrator, the versions of
user DB maintained by Fusion Manager and HP-SMB will be in sync.
• When a target cluster node is rebooted/failed over, it is now repeatedly checked for UP status
by the CRR job. This ensures that all target nodes are participating in the replication, which results
in maximum replication performance.
• HP-SMB seamlessly authenticates with a SMB2-based Active Directory controller without any
connection disruption, even with a high number of sessions.
• The serial numbers are now captured for all MSA models by the ibrix_phonehome command
and sent to HP SIM during cluster discovery. This allows HP SIM to discover all MSAs that are
present in the cluster.
• The HP-SMB service will no longer fail when a large number of concurrent connections are
attempted on shares.
• When performing an NDMP backup on an Express Query-enabled file system, Express Query
events are correctly generated at the backup start and end points.
• If a server is failed over/failed back during a rebalancer or data tiering job, the job completes
successfully and no longer requires a manual restart.
• An exception/error no longer displays when the FMT recommends a firmware downgrade for
the P410i controller (from 6.00 (2) to a 5.xx version (no build number). A correct flash
recommendation will now display.
• This HPD7 firmware fix for disk drives MB2000FBUCL and MB3000FBUCN corrects a possible
condition in which stale data might be written to the disk. This results in unexpected data being
returned in subsequent requests.
• When the CRR health check is running, it no longer adds benign error messages to the
fusionserver.log file.
• The latest firmware version (1.78) for the HP 1210m controller is included in 6.3.2.
6.3.1 release
