The Summary panel presents an overview of the HTTP configuration. You can go back and modify
any part of the configuration if necessary.
When the wizard is complete, users can access the API HTTP share from a client. See “HTTP-REST
API object mode shares” (page 203) and “HTTP-REST API file-compatible mode shares” (page 217)
for details.
Managing the HTTP configuration
Select File Shares > HTTP from the Navigator to display the current HTTP configuration. The HTTP
Config Profiles panel lists the profiles that have been created. The Vhosts panel shows the virtual
hosts associated with the selected profile.
Use the buttons on the panels to modify or delete the selected configuration profile or virtual host.
To view HTTP shares on the GUI, select the appropriate profile on the HTTP Config Profiles top
panel, and then select the appropriate virtual host from the lower navigator tree. The Shares bottom
panel shows the shares configured on that virtual host. Click Add Share to add another share to
the virtual host. For example, you could create multiple shares having the same physical path, but
with different sets of properties, and then assign users to the appropriate share.
NOTE: You cannot have REST API and regular HTTP shares attached to the same Vhost.
