• Virtual host requirements:
The client used for EQWSI searches should be able to access the HTTP virtual host for
the EQWSI-enabled HTTP share.

◦ Only port 80 is recommended to be used in the virtual host which is used for EQWSI
enabled HTTP shares.
• Web browser requirements:
Pop-ups must be enabled for the Web browser accessing the StoreAll Management
console; otherwise you will be unable to generate and download the Windows Explorer

Search Plug-in. No error is displayed indicating that the Windows Explorer Search Plug-in
could not be generated.
◦ If Internet Explorer is the browser used to download the Windows Explorer Search Plug-in,
then the “Downloads” must be enabled in the security zone corresponding to the FM GUI
IP address.
• The Windows Explorer Search Plug-in can be renamed as per user convenience with the file
extension being retained as .OSDX.
