2 Cascading upgrades
If you are running a StoreAll OS version earlier than 5.6, perform the incremental upgrade as
described in Table 2 (page 18). If you are running StoreAll 5.6, upgrade to 6.1.5 before upgrading
to the latest version of StoreAll OS Software.

NOTE: Any support tickets collected with the ibrix_supportticket command will be deleted
during the upgrade. Before upgrading to the incremental version, download a copy of the archive
files (.tgz) from the /admin/platform/diag/supporttickets directory.
Common issue across all upgrades from StoreAll 5.x
If you are upgrading from a StoreAll 5.x release, ensure that the NFS exports option
subtree_check is the default export option for every NFS export. The no_subtree_check
option is not compatible with the StoreAll software.
To add the subtree_check option, perform the following steps:
1. Unexport the NFS exports:
ibrix_exportfs -h <HOSTLIST> -p <CLIENT1:PATHNAME1>
2. Create NFS exports with the subtree_check option:
ibrix_exportfs –f <FSNAME> -p <CLIENT1:PATHNAME1> -o "subtree_check"
NOTE: Multiple options can be specified by using the –o parameter by separating each
option by a comma (for example, -o rw,subtree_check).
3. Complete steps 1 and 2 for every NFS export.
4. Verify that all NFS exports have the subtree_check option set:
ibrix_exportfs –l
Upgrading the StoreAll OS Software to version 6.1.5
This section describes how to upgrade to the StoreAll OS software version 6.1.5. The Fusion
Manager and all nodes must be upgraded to the new release at the same time.
IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading from a StoreAll 5.x release, ensure that the NFS exports
option subtree_check is the default export option for every NFS export. See “Common issue
across all upgrades from StoreAll 5.x” (page 18) for more information.
