Reports the output as text or XML format.-F, or --format <Text | XML>
Forces the firmware update operation regardless of the recommended update
action. The force option is required for the firmware downgrade and rewrite
operations.
-fo, or --force
This option is applicable for a single component firmware update.
Redirects the output to the specified file.-o, or --outputfile
<Filename>
Reboots the server after a successful firmware update operation. This option is
ignored if:
-r, or --reboot
None of the components require a reboot.
One or more of the components requires a reboot.
Enables noninteractive mode. All user prompts are suppressed, including flash
consideration notes.
-s, or --scriptmode
Displays the detailed information (not applicable for the discover operation).-v, or --verbose
Forces the firmware update operation regardless of the server role (master or
slave).
-i, or --ignorerole
Ignores the disk dual path check before flashing the SAS switch.-ic, or
--ignorediskdualpathcheck
Used with the component option. Updates the firmware of a specified device
for a single component type. Supported only for the SAS switch.
-id, or --deviceid <Device
ID>
The IP address of the Onboard Administrator.-oi, or --oaip <ipaddress>
The password of the Onboard Administrator.-op, or --oapasswd
<password>
The user account with administrative privileges for the Onboard Administrator.-ou, or --oauser <username>
The password for a Virtual Connect.-vp, or --vcpasswd
<password>
A user account with administrative privileges for a Virtual Connect.-vu, or --vcuser <username>

The hpsp_fmt command exit status codes to describe the overall result of the operation.
