At this stage, you can optionally reboot the server to activate the updated firmware or wait for
other firmware updates, if any, and perform a reboot once for them all.
Base firmware version requirement for PCIeNIC components
The firmware update of a PCIeNIC component will fail if the component’s active firmware version
is lower than the base firmware version (that is, the version required for the tool to perform the
online flash).
In these flash failure cases, you have to manually bring the component to at least the base firmware
version by using the procedure listed in Table 26 (page 69) and then use the Firmware Management
Tool to upgrade from there.
