Suggested action
1. Make sure that one of the IPs of the local server is reachable by OA.
2. Retry the operation.
Flash not attempted for SAS switch with error code: 0x1043
Error Message: Failure communicating to SAS Switch SAS_SWITCH_BAY_<SAS interconnect bay
number> - check that SAS Switch is up and can be reached from server: see the log file
(/var/log/hp/platform/fmt/firmware.log) for more information.
None of the local IPs of the server is reachable by the SAS switch.
Suggested action
1. Make sure that one of the IPs of the local server is reachable by the SAS switch.
2. Retry the operation. If flash still fails, then follow the steps 3 through 6, below.
3. Make sure that affected switch has a working peer SAS switch.
4. Log in to the affected switch.
5. Reset the switch by executing the command:
switch local reset hardware forced
6. Retry the operation.
VC reset failure with error code: 0x1A32
Error Message: Failure in resetting Virtual Connect(VC) - Please reset VC manually by logging into
the Onboard Administrator and "reset" the Virtual Connect Module running VC Firmware 3.1x (or
earlier) to complete the firmware activation.

Suggested action
1. Make sure that a pair of VCs is located in the c7000 enclosure.
2. Log in to the active VC and execute the command:
reset vcm -failover
3. Once the reset is done, try the -fr command on the VC and see if an update is successful.
4. If not, retry the update operation.

SAS switch not seated properly
Loose SAS cable connectivity
Invalid SAS cable connectivity
Bad SAS switch
Enclosure I/O module(s) associated with the reported server(s) not seated properly
