Firmly holding the processor memory module, press the release buttons and pull the module out of
the server.
6. Remove the processor memory module cover.
To install the processor memory module, reverse the removal steps.
Installing a processor
1. Locate and download the latest ROM version from the HP website
(http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/romflash.html
). Follow the instructions on
the website to update the system ROM.
2. Power down the server (on page 21).
3. Remove the processor memory module, and open the cover ("Removing the processor memory
module" on page 33).
