The Device Manager CLI now supports adding the following virtualization server products as a host

when Host Data Collector is used:

• VMware vSphere ESXi 5.0

• VMware vSphere ESXi 5.1

For the P9500 storage system, Device Manager was improved so that message KAIC15056-W does

not frequently appear during use of the functionality that checks whether a storage system was changed

by a storage management tool other than Device Manager (such as CCI or SVP).

Device Manager agent enhancements

• Support for the CMD-format specification of the HORCM_CMD parameter in the configuration

definition file on UNIX hosts.

• Support for the server.agent.rm.horcmSource property, which makes it possible to specify

the location of the configuration definition file.

• Java version 7 on HP-UX hosts.

• Guest OSs running on VMware vSphere ESXi 5.0 Update 2 virtualization servers.

• Oracle Linux OSs:

• Oracle Linux 6.2 UEK R2

• Oracle Linux 6.3 UEK R2

Host Data Collector enhancements

• Host Data Collector no longer uses TCP port 5001.

• The hdc.service.localport and hdc.adapter.localport properties have been added

to Host Data Collector so that the TCP ports used for Host Data Collector internal communications

for Windows can be specified.

• Support for the following OSs as a server:

• Oracle Linux 6.2 UEK R2

• Oracle Linux 6.3 UEK R2

• Support for the following OSs as a target host:

• AIX 6.1 TL5

• AIX 6.1 TL6
